This video was made by one of our craniofacial patients. He interviewed other young people with craniofacial differences to find out how they felt about their condition and how it has impacted their life.
Meet Keith & Evelyn !
When siblings Keith and Evelyn were both born with a rare skull condition that affects the shape and growth of the head, Dr. Jennifer Rhodes and her team performed successful craniofacial surgery to help put their development and growth on track.
CHoR patient, Sarah Moskovitz, was born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. She recently created an awesome educational activity book to help other children with clefts. The book project was part of her Bat Mitzvah project.
Sarah worked with Ruth Trivelpiece, clinical coordinator of CHoR's Center for Craniofacial Care and VCUarts students Gwendolyn Wood and Skye Young to create the activity books that are filled with word searches, mazes, coloring pages, games and even information about famous people with clefts.
